What data do we collect?
Through the quote form we may process, among other things: form of address, first name, last name, address, town, email address, phone number, type of project and a free-text message.
Technical data may also be needed to secure the form, such as IP address, time, user agent and browser language. Address suggestions may be retrieved through our server from PDOK (Kadaster Locatieserver) based on what you type.
The administrator dashboard uses a session cookie after login. That is not public data collection from visitors.
Purposes and legal basis
We process data to answer your request or question, prepare a quote and stay in touch with you (performance of (pre-)contractual steps or legitimate interest in business communication).
Protection against spam and abuse is based on a legitimate interest: keeping the site and our mailbox secure.
We send emails about a quote request through Brevo (transactional email). Brevo processes those messages on our behalf, as far as needed to deliver the email.
Retention period
We keep quote and contact data for as long as needed to handle your request. In our request overview it is deleted automatically after 2 years at the latest, or earlier at your request. Data that must be kept longer by law (for example tax retention obligations) is kept in our accounts.
Spam and security logs are deleted automatically after 90 days at the latest.
Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and, where applicable, data portability. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl) or with the supervisory authority in your own EU country.
Send requests to info@vmmvoegwerken.nl. We may ask for additional information to check that we are dealing with the right person. We aim to respond within one month.
Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures, including HTTPS, form protection and a secure admin session. We cannot guarantee absolute security of internet traffic.
No marketing tracking at present
The public site contains no Google Analytics or similar measurement tools. If that changes, we will say so in this statement and in the cookie statement.
